Hunting wild food makes you a sustainable omnivore and its WAY better for the environment then the factory farm meat most people consume. If you are not a vegan then you can’t complain about hunting.  All hunters I know eat what they kill and there are a lot of people who actually all subsistence hunters (I know several).

There are large parts of the country where hunting and fishing are mainstream hobbies.
