Yeah, gay people being given the same rights as their straight peers is a terrible loss for the “state of the family,” not poverty or health issues with a lack of good healthcare or deportations or family members dead from gun violence or drug epidemics or any other host of actual problems families in America face…

Not true. If you properly set up a trust the state is required to pay it to your beneficiaries. Same thing goes for a will. Your beneficiaries are entitled to your annuity.

It’ll solve my financial problems. Once I pay off my student loans, and set up my elderly, disabled Mom with a trust fund for her lifetime care, I’ll set up a family trust, run by disinterested parties, and everyone will have to submit grant proposals to get cash. If my cousins can come up with good business proposals…

I agree that getting suddenly filthy rich won’t guarantee you happiness and may cause problems. But I’ve never found working in a boring job 8-12 hours a day to stave off poverty is any sort of spiritual Nirvana either. I would be willing to experiment with a different set of problems for awhile.

Whole Foods has a better bulk selection than any other places around me and some of the items are way cheaper including amaranth, black lentils (bulk or 365 brand in prepackaged 1 lb) and organic popcorn. I used to go to Whole Foods for plain oatmeal too, but the Ralph’s near me finally got a (tiny) bulk section where…

I use the pouch ramen, and will doctor it up often.. and prefer making it on the stove. Some fozen pre-cooked fajita chicken (or beef) some frozen veggies, viola ‘almost’ real food.
