Could this have been Tim K’s thought process about retirement?

I get past the huge number of dominoes that have fallen as I’ve switched the Charger from a tricked-out 440 to a very tricked-out 512 roller-stroker and go there. (And I’ve listed the hassles I’ve been face with in another QOTD.)

Well someone has bid the truck up to $11.5K as of now...yeesh.

An American car that’s equiv to the Germanmobiles that repulse me: the high-end car with a lot of years on it and too much wear ‘n’ tear—cheap to buy and end up expensive to own.

I had a 2010 R/T and have an ‘18 Scat Pack now. The SP’s 6.4 is light years better than the 5.7. I knew I would be buying a 6.4 as soon as I drove my friend’s ‘12 with it.

Pfffttttt!  They could give me the whole rolling box for free and I still wouldn’t take it.  No parts > no factory support > no way.

Elon absolutely amazes me for how he’s trashed his own reputation. He’s gone from being Tony Stark: “Yes, I can make rockets simultaneously land on their tails.”

Didn’t get the chance. I saw the truck in-position to tow something when letting my dogs out before I went to bed. Though it was weird to have a tow truck on our street at 11:45, but went back inside. Maybe a minute later, I heard it gun it’s motor. Then I heard it hit my car and ran outside to see it speeding off

I’m imagining how hilariously ironic it would be if passengers deliberately got on that Airbus flight so to avoid a Boeing....

I know, right? I burrowed a bud’s Challenger for a while and it gobsmacked me with the reasons I listed. If I wasn’t divorced, the wife would’ve loved the car just because of the monster trunk.

Awwww man... This one hurts. Because on Wednesday night, a rogue tow truck pulled a hit-and-run on my poor Miata. It’s very, very broken now.

The style has aged quite well for how long it’s been on the market. You can’t say the same for other cars out of 2008/2009.

Given how corrupt Judge Thomas is, where’s the surprise? After all, we’re talking about a POS who refuses to recuse himself from court cases involving the January 6th insurrection and when you consider how his wife was directly involved in the Jan 6th riot, think how ethically deranged you have to be to not do the

I’m with the kid: the 911 is an example of a car that I could care less about—just a squashed VW Bug that’s been converted to water cooling as it’s been engineered to death. The motor cantilevered out the back end “thanks” to being a worst-for-handling rear-engined car is my biggest issue (alleviated by being AWD here

Try not to laugh, because this will seem dumb at first. But I plan to live for another 40+ years. I’d love to say an OG NSX or a Viper, because I don’t want to give up my Sports Car/Muscle Car dreams. But my knees are already not the best. So it’s got to be easy enough for an old dude with dubious joints to get in and

A Dodge Challenger:

I know I’m in the minority - but I’d rather spend 15k a bit more wisely. It IS pretty, though.

Yes, I’m with Kalmowitz: you want bang-for-the-buck, the Challenger is the one to go for.

So we’re back to the Jalop writers not understanding when to use “its” versus “it’s”....

That’s a shitload of money for an old truck that gets gallons per mile and a camper that looks too utilitarian to be believed.  ND to the 10th power.
