O.k. I get it. You’ve found a study that’s got you excited, but you can’t really talk about it with any authority because it’s not finished and there is no data or final conclusions to point to.

Policing is, but I haven’t advocated for policing. I’ve advocated for notation, which is not punitive. This is basic science - you gather data, and then you assess it. You CAN gather that data by measuring policing occurrences, but I don’t think that’s very helpful, and it’s not something I’ve advocated for.
