Texan politicians are a bunch of fucking idiots, but this seems fine. They didn’t eliminate the course, so the handwringing about people doing better when they have Mexican-American studies courses is nonsense. The course still exists, so those people will presumably continue to do better because of it.

It’s not about whether you are confused by it. It’s about whether it is A) accurate (it’s not) or B) able to be reasonable confused by (it is).

Then that’s what the headline should have read, right?

The only thing worse than this self-important, dumb fucking take is the rest of the people who are so up their own ass that they actually think you’re invested in the discussion.

Because deep down, even the Hillary supporters know Comey took the proper course of action[...]

And so what should he have done, instead? Not investigate? Investigate without informing congress? Both of those seem like dereliction of duty, and at least one of them seems illegal.

Let’s also not forget that Comey was just doing his job. It was Congress who hurt Hillary’s campaign.
