So glad Cody’s back to doing his best work! As soon as I learned about that patreon, I pledged because this is a god damn voice or reason in these insane times.

The only credit I’ll give Trump for this is listening to people who know what the fuck they’re talking about (which really is a baseline for a president, so it’s exactly neutral credit). That said, I can’t imagine what good would come out of a Broadcom/Qualcomm merger.

Arms races are a valid part of warfare, too, which is what I see this new ship representing.

I’m glad companies are being forced to report this ratio. Now all we need is to implement some tax laws that punish those companies, if their CEOs are benefiting from an inordinate ratio.

Ah, so it was sheer incompetence that led you to fail to keep up with things.

I don’t really agree with that viewpoint[...]

Gotcha. I had a feeling that the commentariat would be quicker to explain the situation than trying to find the information via searches.

Ok, fair, chicken and egg, I guess.

Oh man, this seems like it could be so much more.

Weird. I could have sworn the USS Lexington was parked in Corpus Christi...

Nobody is born with any rights that aren’t codified into law by the country in which they are born.

I guess I’m not understanding where we diverge in thought? What is the practical difference between the constitution acknowledging what your rights are (as bestowed by the natural state), and the constitution giving you the right, under its social contract, specifically because it acknowledges that it is a right
