Disagree. Kinja help tells you to ‘feel free’, but not before explicitly telling you to just ignore them. That they acknowledge the possibility of edge cases doesn’t mean that’s what it’s for.

Never dismiss the reply. Just don’t read it. It’s super easy to not read a reply.
Under an article about trolling? Clearly you missed some parts.
Google is ACUTELY aware of how close the business world is tied to Microsoft. In fact, I’d say anyone who does bisdev is pretty aware.
Visual Studio Code is not Visual Studio. I realize that can be confusing, because Visual Studio comes in different flavors (including Visual Studio Community), but they’re entirely separate programs, with different uses.
Feel free to believe that. I’ve worked inside both their Mountain View and Atlanta offices and that is the rule that I’ve seen, both documented and employed. Are there exceptions? Of course. But the rule is there, and a lot of questions fly around whenever you bring up needing to use another type of device for your…
Yeah, I’m, personally, not sold on this device. What they built it for is to have something that has decent GPU power so that they can run large signage and stuff like that. So it definitely makes sense, just not for most users.
Citrix and Cisco have support for Chrome devices. Do they run receiver or AnyConnect? I can’t say for sure (quick google search could probably turn something up?), but I know that I’ve used a chromebook to do remote work through both Citrix and Cisco.
I develop software for a living. I have a Dell Precision tower and we have assorted Macs and Chrome devices. A couple of different flavors of Linux on various machine to work with, too.
Hey! ChromeRDP! The company I work for built that app! Nice to see a user in the wild. Implementing the RDP protocol in JS/C was a heck of a thing, so I’m glad it’s working well enough for you.
Seconded!
They work just fine, offline. It would be like using your phone, offline. It’s not ideal, but it’s functional. And what you are able to do on it, offline, depends on what you’ve set it up to do, when you were online.
It would be nice if you guys would discuss the enterprise benefits of these devices.
I’m a worker. I care.
Not gonna lie, that sounds pretty delicious! But I’d be picking out raisins...
Only the most extreme feminists reject ‘woman’. It’s unfortunate that the assholes have ruined the word female for you, but sadly they did.
Agreed. If a server said anything uppity to ANY of my dining party, I’m having a LOUD conversation with the manager about exactly who cost the establishment my business, and then I’m out.
For the sake of both my conscience and my suspicious mind.
Brevity being the soul of wit, while true, carries little weight when not trying to be witty.
You responded, apropos of nothing, to me. As far as I know, you were not coerced, cajoled or otherwise made to engage. Assuming you did from your own free will, I was happy to engage back, and am still happy to.
It’s absurd to me that you don’t see how each of those examples were specifically considered BECAUSE they listened to what actual women are telling people.
