The Third Pedal

The last of a breed. 5.0L NA V8, RWD, and Stick. Simply in its own class of automotive perfection.

I am the 300th like for this comment! Do I win something?

Truth. I thought I got a great deal on a 10yo motorbike with 12k kms. It’s all dried cables, gummy carbs, and rusted tank.

A car sitting in a garage makes 0 horsepower.

Wait, wait. If you overland without a shiny new rooftop tent, does it even count? How would anyone know that you overland?

White wall? Did somebody say white walls?

I have a severe aversion to aftermarket forced induction, but this is so clean and nice. Too much for even a cherry stock ’08, but I think this is a rare case where quality, well done mods actually add value. NP.

I guess it is safer than the glovebox minibar offered in the ‘57 Caddy Eldorado Brougham.

Yep. Well, some of her.

If it can be retrofitted to spit out Juul pods and mounted in a WRX, I see a huge opportunity.

Cragar makes some nice “vintage” style wheels in modern sizes. These Rally II’s would look nice, but the smallest they come is 17". Its hard to find any wheels that would fit an old American car in smaller sizes without hitting up a junkyard that stocks ‘70s and early cars.

Try Coker Tire,

I so wish they’d offer an AWD manual... Even if it’s just the standard 2.5. Offer the premium package 3 with AWD and third pedal. I’ll buy one immediately.

Is it wrong that I read this article and thought to myself “Everything he says describes how I feel about my 2019 Miata”.

Andrew, i’m happy to see you driving a manual again!

Come hop in my truck!

I’m still going to call my SUVs trucks. I invite you all to join me in defiance of Jason’s whims. He can’t punish all of us!

When I was in college, I playeda lot of the most recent GTA online. One time, one of my friends saw me playing and noticed 90% of my in-game garage was stuff that was pre-2000's, most of it from the 60's. He asks me: “Why do you only have old cars!?!?! New ones are so much better!!!!1!”

He died like he lived: drifting aimlessly wherever the current took him.”
