I think it’s more difficult to sit there, trying to pay attention while a machine does everything for you, than it is to be fully engaged because you’re the one doing the driving. THAT’s human nature.
I’d say, until autonomous cars are able to be trusted to be autonomous, they have no place on our roads.

The latin for “cold air driving,” according to Google, is “frigus aeris incessus,” which is something similar to what my wife would exclaim after 30 seconds of driving with the top down on a cold autumn morning in Alberta. Maybe there’s something there.

That is a completely cool vehicle, and it’s a Toyota, so it’d be reliable too. I just have to go to South Africa to get one.
