I agree. It would work well for my purposes too.

I’d steal a 1957 Chevy Bel Air two door hardtop. I’ve always wanted one. I’d do my best to protect it, because it’s one of the nicest things our civilization has produced.

Me too. I was going to post it myself, but I couldn’t find anything witty to add, and, of course, I was too late! I suppose it needs nothing else.

You really have to start another identity here as faux Trump.

Yes! This is perfect! This car is so homely, so weird, that I love it. I saw an orange one with a 413 Cross Ram in it once, and I fell in love. Weird car, with an outrageous engine. SO cool!

That IS the prettiest car. In red it is, anyway. You sir, have excellent taste.

That just about sums it up.

It’s nice, but repairing anything on this car would be horrendously expensive. I don’t make that kind of coin. CP for me.

He didn’t intend to make a logically sound argument, it was a joke.

I want to live in a swanky apartment in Paris with a girl who looks like Capucine. She’ll ride with me in my E-type, and we’ll spend our days visiting coffee shops and book stores, while I struggle to write my great novel.

As a white male, I’m just here to say, “she deserves better!”

I’m sure it’s not better at everyday live-ability.

There lies the heart of Cadillac’s problems. No matter what they do, they’re still a GM product.

Sometimes, when I’m far from home, I just don’t want to pay for the roaming charges.

This article was a real pleasure to read. Your enthusiasm is infectious. I’m afraid that if I keep reading pieces like this, I’ll wind up buying a Jeep. Thanks, David.

Y-you mean that I bought the wrong one?

I’m old and not interested in any music which is remotely modern, so I disagree. I kinda thought American Graffiti had the best soundtrack for driving, but that’s just me. I’m not THAT old, but it was fun to listen to while driving my ‘65 GTO when I had it.

When I dream of motorcycles, this is what I dream of. For this alone, NP. (I am relatively ignorant about motorcycles, but I know what I like)

I’d like to see the Levorg over here, but they have to put a manual into it. Sigh. That just won’t happen.

David Tracy nailed it. I’d love that car.
