Yeah, my Scion is at nearly 200,000. Mostly highway miles. Bought it at 140,000 for like $4k. Had some exhaust work done and regular maintenance. I think how a car is driven is far more important than how far.

Wheels locks for $199 and “Nitrogen” for $249.

They aren’t more expensive in the sense of the direct purchase price (they’ve actually held pretty damn stable).  They are more expensive in that we make less than we used to.  So they are just harder to afford.

My car is old enough to have 2 kids, a messy divorce, and a questionable Tinder account.

The leaks are weird, but then again, this entire case is weird.

People fake/stage things for a lot of reasons.

I mean you bring up some good points but I think at this point the reports are leaning in the other direction, if they put out and official statement soon we will know for sure but right now shit isn’t looking good

My guess is he wanted exposure. I’ve never heard of him until this scandal, so I guess it worked. Unfortunately for him, he was exposed, so now I’ll forever know him as the actor/singer/director/photographer who faked a hate crime.

The virtue of victimhood.

Love the irresponsibility of leadership.

I know when a multimillionaire lectures me about how I’m causing all of the problems in his company, I tell myself “it’s not worth it, you’d probably only get one bite or so if we ate him.”

You could just as easily replace “Ford Management” with my current employer (who shall remain nameless).  This appears to be the American-way.

I must be crazy. I know I’m crazy. A profit of 7 BILLION dollars and it’s still doom and gloom because the margin is ONLY 4.4 percent?! You made 7 BILLION dollars last year! And investors are crying because maybe you coulda made more?! These people are fuck nuts. Time to take Ford private and off of the stock market.

Ford Management: “We’ve wildly over estimated earnings and made some very questionable decisions this year resulting in a loss of profit, jobs, and market share. So the workforce will have to pay for our bonuses, greed, and stupidity with their jobs.”

This is an excellent choice.

There’s always the Jaguar F-Type. I saw a 2015 year model (supercharged V6, RWD) for sale in the DC area right around your budget. I know someone who has one and loves it as his daily driver as well as his fun car.

The game is most likely kickbacks from the tow company.

I’d LOVE to take a walk around all of their properties to see if there are any cosmetic imperfections...anywhere. Because I could nit pick a 3 mile list for them and compare them to that dent.

I’m not taking Brooner’s side, but I fail to see how a twenty-odd year old sexual assault conviction is relevant to this matter...
