You’re right about D&D being “fast and loose”. In spite of some sloppy writing they still managed to avoid making a total train wreck of this show. Fingers crossed for the final season.

I agree with you that Tyrion may have been pushing Dany and Jon together. It seems like a strategically beneficial move, marrying Danaerys to the King of the North, uniting their people together. Tyrion may want to hold off on arranging a marriage in case a better, more powerful suitor were to emerge but right now he…
I was soooo relieved that the finale didn’t end with Sansa and Arya at each others throats. I too wanted to see a much more fitting end for Littlefinger but I’ll settle for what we got.
Good gravy! Those Thor photos are super cool! The shout-outs to Kirby in the backgrounds and some of the characters have me very excited to see this movie.
Maybe generic was the wrong term? I meant it in a good way, as in archetypal, but subverted for the Rick & Morty universe.
I hear you. Sometimes I need the crushing nihilsm and other times I need to just shut my brain off and watch stuff blow up. You kind of have to be in the mood for Rick & Morty.
That picture is great. The characters were generic enough to sort of fit the pattern of a standard super team but weird enough to fit in Rick & Morty.

I don’t like the idea of turning Arya and Sansa against each other but it seems like something Littlefinger would do. Sansa knows what Littlefinger is capable of, she can handle him but Arya getting played by Littlefinger was hard to take. I thought she was sharper than that.
HILARIOUS!
Right on. Thanks for the info!
Is this a Young Animal book or part of the “new” New 52? Last I checked, Shiloh Norman was the Mr Miracle of the main Earth and Scott Free was on Earth 2. I get confused...but I’m still excited to read this comic. Tom King is firing on all cylinders lately and I have a feeling that it’s going to be good.
Ending the season where they did really made the story feel truncated. There were some great episodes, I especially loved the origin of the Lions and seeing the original Palladins. And then it ended and we gotta wait. Bummer of an end to an otherwise great season.
The Marvel machine is still chugging along, churning out product, but as they rush to get quantity out to the masses it seems that quality has started to wane. Luke cage started strong but fizzled out by the end. Iron Fist was a major disappointment. Dr Strange was underwhelming. Agents of Shield has been hit or miss…
I’ve been hoping GoT would get good again. It got good. Real good. Episode 64 delivered the goods. Five things stood out to me.
That transition from Jorah and Sam to the pie in the tavern...it WAS disgusting.
I swear I saw another version of this poster that showed Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel. Maybe it was a fan produced work, but it looked very much like this one.
I just googled the lawsuits. Looks like that may very well be the reason why Sonic is leaving Archie.
Wow. I have worked in three different comic shops over a ten year period and Sonic has been, and still is, a consistent seller. Any comic aimed at a younger audience tends to sell and Sonic normally has complete sell through’s. Maybe my location is unique, but I can’t imagine the series is ending due to poor sales.
The scene with Arya and the Lannister soldiers was great. You could feel that Arya could barely contain the urge to kill them while at the same time realizing that they were just common folk sharing a meal and some wine by the fire. Maisie Williams really acted her ass off and reminded me why Arya is my favorite…
