I had a great moment last night when I got to tell my daughter about Ed Sheeran.

Sweet Jeebus, that was hilarious. Thank you.

Do we need an Obi-Wan Kenobi standalone movie?

Best news I have heard today.

The qualms with this trope are valid. It’s also important to remember that Milestone had a wide variety of black characters, each one possessing the full range of powers and abilities superheroes are known for. Icon is a great character and an intriguing analysis of a black superman. Hardware is even better and one of

The Mos Eisley “Hateful 8"? With Mace Windu? I’m soooo down for that one!

The problem for me, like a lot of Star Wars fans, is that I never wanted this movie. There is no need for it. The character of Han Solo, and Lando and Boba Fett for that matter, relies on a some mystique for the character to be intriguing. Once we know everything about Solo he won’t be as interesting.

Whoo boy! Thanks. I needed a laugh today.

Dafuq?

I doubt Marvel/Disney will do much to acknowledge Kirby. It doesn’t fit the narrative they established and promoted via Stan Lee’s cameos in all the movies. How can Stan Lee be Mr Marvel if someone else had a hand in the creation of the universe? Lawsuit aside, Kirby and his heirs deserve more. Steve Ditko deserves

Word. That was a major event in the book. It would be pretty weak if they inadvertantly reveal it through some press conference or whatever.

Oh man...If they brought back Darkwing Dark my head would explode! MAKE MY HEAD SPLODEY PLEASE!!!

I’m pretty sure Miller is responding as i-Rok, in character. That seems like the sort of thing he’d do.

I have been somewhat fearful about the adaptation. Adding characters and scenes doesn’t alleviate my fears. i-R0k was in the book, barely, and was a complete tool. Miller is good at playing a tool so I’m sure he’ll do a good job. I just don’t know about the rest of the movie. I love this book and love all the crazy

The art style is great. Very dramatic with the black, white and grey tones. The panel close ups give a very intimate feel to the story. I will have to check out the rest of it.

Judging by the trailer alone, this looks good. If they are adapting cool lady super spy comics I hope Velvet isn’t far behind.

I usually see US leisure travel passports that are blue and the official US government travel passport that are red/maroon.

I didn’t need IT to fear clowns. I’ve been afraid of clowns since I was a toddler. Their loud antics and frenzied movements scared the hell out of me and I have avoided them my whole life.

Throwing my 2 cents in for the hell of it. Invincible would be a good choice for a studio eager to get in on the superhero game. Suggestion: go full on bright costume. Universal could distinguish this movie from the other super hero stuff by bringing a colorful comic to life. The crazy costumes make the ridiculous

I enjoyed Avatar when it came out. I haven’t watched the film in years and had all but forgotten it. There have been better spectacles released since that did far more to capitalize on their popularity than Avatar did. It’s a little late in the game to get pumped up over it now.
