I like Amy Schumer. I think her show has incredible writing and almost every episode has one very spot-on skit.

Huh. That’s weird. Is this also happening for Jen Kirkman and Ali Wong? Because those were pretty dope sets.
Ali Wong is hilarious! I also really like Morgan Murphy and Anjelah Johnson.
Okay. Fuck MRA for tanking this......but to be honest, had they not been involved, it would have been 2 stars vs 1 star. It was not good. I usually like her, watched her show long before she was “big” and liked Trainwreck, however, this was bad. Like I was high AF and didn’t laugh. And I laugh at everything, in that…
Chelsea Peretti’s and Ali Wong’s Netflix specials are both great.
We just did the same thing with Jim Gaffigan. 10 minutes in, no laughs, switched over to old Key and Peele. Gaffigan is obv dorky white guy funny at best but this was stiff even by his standards
It sucked. But there are not only countless succesful male comedians out there doing similar caliber stuff but many of them have been vocally anti-trump, pro-gun legislation, etc. Those dudes don’t get this.
She’s definitely hit or miss for me re: stand-up and interviews (I thought her show was pretty consistently good, which makes sense because if you have more good writers = better quality jokes; she is clearly very, very privileged and not at all aware of that fact), but I do think there’s a special hate-on certain…
Maria Bamford and Tig Notora. Both of whom have awesome series out right now (on Netflix and Amazon, respectively.)
I’m conflicted. On the one hand, I’m 100% on her side and 100% opposed to the alt-right. On the other hand, her special was not good. I’m a fan of her show, and I liked her movie a lot, and I liked her previous special, but this one sucked, frankly.
I don’t like her and her shtick is old and boring but if she annoys Trump supporters I can get behind that tbh
I mean, I say this as an Amy Schumer fan, it was complete and total garbage.
Those quotes are about the most Hoosier Male thing I’ve ever heard “Hates me to death.” and “I throw fits, I gripe.” in particular. FWIW - I’ve got lots of family around Bloomington and we’ve seen good ol’ Johnny Cougar around and he legit does look grumpy :)
Stern has been the best interviewer for years at this point. This cannot be argued.
Yeah, that would be the alcohol and cigarettes. Christie Brinkley might want to check out an Al-Anon meeting (see also Billy Joel).
Maybe she’s living out the character she played in every movie in the eighties! She’s a quirky young urban professional - will she ever find love?
Christie Brinkley has terrible taste in men. Billy Joel, for example. That man seems like a self-absorbed jerk who only writes love songs yet is incapable of staying in any sort of relationship for longer than it takes to quickly marry and dump his newest flame.
Jerry is so much better for her.
Dennis Quaid, Russell Crowe, John Mellencamp. Has Meg Ryan ever been romantically involved with anyone who wasn’t a man-baby?
lol I’m glad you had this breakthrough!
