Yea totally, more of the same, innovation is the problem. Stick to what works, don’t try to make something different. The most important part of game design is to be redundant. Always remake the same thing, year after year. At least yearly, maybe more frequently.

Stopping to listen to the tapes would actually be the same as stoping to listen to codecs in previous games, but now I have the option to keep sneaking around while listening to the tape if it sounds like it’s going to be meh, and rewind it to catch something I missed. Wups, looks like I misread. I thought the first time he was there it was for an inspection that failed, not there specifically for brake work. However he didn’t inspect the brakes or do a brake test or test drive the car 2 weeks later when the car was brought in for inspection, all of which are required.
