In other news, Capcom's localization team's office had to be quarantined and scrubbed by hazmat crews after they watched the video and realized that they have to find some way to make that fit California post western expansion, and simultaneously shit themselves. It was a scene of carnage not unlike the Worldwide

I don't understand why Frog in the background of the Earthworm Jim picture didn't get a picture taken for kotaku. Way to phone in your pax coverage.

Death is sad. But I don't see any reason to celebrate a racist ass bag out of the ring, and a Native American caricature in the ring. So you see no moral conundrum with somebody setting up a kickstarter with the intention of grabbing as much money as possible and not accomplish any final product on purpose?

It's because taking donations to create a gaming product, then selling your product to a social media company that doesn't really care about the kind of gaming you collected donations with before moving a single final product is dishonest.

Actually I guess I'm thinking of a different article. I thought there was number in the 10000s Of people already dead at the construction site in the headline. My bad.

I thought the story referenced was clickbait because the number of deaths referenced was a total for the country over a period of time, not deaths that have happened as a result of one project as the headline indicated.

That really depends on how you interpret kickstarters ToS, which does have a legal requirement for creators to fulfill their promises and projects.

I was wondering about this, too. They got the kickstarter money by pitching a VR gaming accessory. If ownership by Facebook turns it into a VR social accessory (which could still be neat) and hinders game development for it, then they really owe their kickstarter backers some money. Morally at least, if not legally.

I just wish sharks didn't taste so good!
