I think the Titans showrunners were shocked at how lucky they were to land Alan Ritchson and Minka Kelly - and subsequently kept feeding them more and more material. The Hawk and Dove focus-episodes are arguably the best of the series. Plus he had to play Hawk from college senior to 30ish dude in rehab. Range. The

Ritchson was one of the best things in the very uneven Titans.

Didn’t mention Titans, which he was very good in as Hawk. He even got to sing on the show, which surprised me since he’s very good.

I feel like that was the last time Kanye had anything sensible to say.

That exact same argument has been used for decades (if not centuries) to keep out some “undesired” class, whether it be Blacks, Jews, or poor people. It’s a bullshit argument. Aesthetics are not more important than people.

Why did they have their first date documented with an article and photo shoot?

Well she did not do a good job convincing anyone that Kanye is a good person to date.

This is all has such Tom Cruise shoppping for girlfriends vibes. Why is she talking so much about it? Why did they have their first date documented with an article and photo shoot? Oddly, I find none of it the least bit intriguing. It’s just so unhinged that I can’t help but look. Is that the design?

The new trilogy was really a blessing and a curse. The prequels had a largely new plotline, but were also so burdened with other issues that they made Lucas give up the rights to the films. The new trilogy, while much better in isolation, shares so many plot elements that it might as well be a soft remake of the

Grogu is still emblematic of what’s wrong with modern Star Wars, it’s all rooted in nostalgia.

I’ve got a lot of issues with Solo, but I’ll just say this: The director swap-out deprived us of seeing Michael K. Williams play a Star Wars villain and I will never forget that.

The recurring flaw in the Star Wars universe is the gatekeepers continue trying to double-down on things and ideas that have already succeeded instead of attempting to break new ground. Even when they stumble into something new and good like “The Mandalorian,” their next move with “The Book of Boba Fett” is conceived

I loved Licorice Pizza, but the ending was all wrong and super gross.  It should have ended like Rushmore, with the teen protagonist realizing he was wrong to try to pursue an adult romantically. Not with the adult being won over and basically saying, “Yeah, I will fuck a child!”

The Oscars love movies about old Hollywood, actor transformations, and Kidman, Bardem, and Simmons. Given that, I think the fact that it wasn’t nominated in more categories suggests a pretty tepid reaction by the Academy.

can we also talk about how Laurie was planning on selling Rue into the sex trade? that was horrifying. She locked her in her house. I cant imagine a scarier scenario.

I agree that it’s shitty to force religion on your kids, and glad I didn’t have to deal with that growing up. But there’s a time and a place to take a stance, and it was selfish and bratty of the character to do it at a glitzy party when all the guests are already there. Like, just power through it and have a heart to

Did anyone else think Rock was a total spoiled brat in the finale? I get that they were tired of labels, etc., but the “they mitzvah” was something that was important to Charlotte and Harry for personal and cultural reasons, and they also spent a lot of time and money arranging it (not to mention going above and

Almost like different people with different opinions wrote them or something.

I find it hilarious the Emmerich is trying to claim that Marvel isn’t doing anything original anymore.
