I sometimes think the people who *aren’t* superfans of a literary/comics/sci-fi property tend to do a better job in actualizing the movie/television adaptation as they are not slavishly devoted to its minutiae*. So I can’t hate on Ferguson for not finishing the book.

I actually thought the exact same thing when I read about this story on another pop culture website.

Yeah, I did the reading equivalent of a double-take when I got to Snider’s name.

When watching SG with Mr. Notorious, I always refer to Mike/Trae as ‘Benjamin Button’.

I’m not personally mad about it all.

I agree with you that Murphy definitely doesn’t seem to get that he’s picking stories where a reasonable resemblance to key personas is important to the overall series working.

No kidding. But once Paulson bounces, he’s only going to have Lily Rabe left in his (former) murderer’s row of incredible actresses.

Or for all we know, the wife could be an addict also. The public has a harder time remembering that drug enabling is not just men-to-women.*

Agreed. Even before the onset of #MeToo educating people en masse (myself included) about how chronic perpetrators operate, back then I still even thought “that’s A LOT of F-ing smoke surrounding just one man.”*

You could be conflating Lewinsky with her post-weight loss appearance. There was a lot of “her...?!” type comments about Lewinsky during that period. It was pretty gross.

For reals? I had no idea. The mind boggles at the intricate spiderweb of irony and cognitive dissonance.

Your “comment” about Michelle Obama is a crime against humanity. I'd downvote you if I could.

OMG, the casting for TPvOJS drove me *nuts*.

Paquin *is* good in Flack. But unfortunately, it’s another show where the supporting characters act circles around her, particularly Sophie Okonedo.

DEAD. 😅👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

Angry at the world, combative, defensive-everyone is against them, no one is in their corner, even people who try to help aren’t really trying to help them.”

Terrance Howard is the definition of problematic, but the details of his anecdote (and his disdain of RDJ) has been unwavering since when he first revealed the details. That soet of consistently definitely makes me feel it was unexaggerated truth.

Normally, I’d agree. But I really think the priorities of Johannson’s teams shifted when Disney sent that foolish press release questioning her integrity while attempting to spit-shine theirs.

Right? I’ll be especially disappointed if Evans doesn’t speak up soon.

I agree with all you’ve wrote (BUT) the statement released by Johannson’s attorney yesterday seemed to indicate they do not want arbitration at this point.
