Okay, so then what *are* you saying then? I’m honestly asking.

I’m gonna put this here:

Stephen, was that headline also a “Game of Thrones” reference?

Well, they’re clearly moving on to Rock since they decimated a chief cornerstone of (modern) hip-hop.

Which part? I’m sure you mean all of it, though. ;-)

Whether she got off on the power doesn’t justify the ridicule or bullying she was subjected to. I *did* point out above the power *may* have turned her on. But whether it did or not, he still had considerable power currency (political, social, physical), and still should have had enough sense to think ‘this is a bad

Agreed. Not to mention it comes across as seriously condescending and pedantic. There’s great monologues from cinema (and television) that can be very theatrical if done properly.

Even if Lewinsky was a consenting adult, the treatment she underwent was still unacceptable.

Well, Reiner *did* consider casting him. Per the anecdote:

That’s why I think its extreme. If he was concerned McCarthy was going to be a prima donna, why not just call him for a second audition? That way, Reiner could see if McCarthy really had the chops (versus it being a fluke) and reobserve his post audition behavior.

Which would be a fair thing if it *was* an actual theatre project. But per the anecdote, it was for *a movie*. A teen rom-com for goodness sake.

Um...Stanley Tucci, Angela Bassett, Christina Hendricks, Taye Diggs, Anderson Cooper, Demi Moore, would all like a word with you. ;-)

Horrible back tattoo aside, I hope they’re making a go of it. The time Affleck was with Lopez, he did seem legitimately in love with her. I hope they can rekindle things now they’re both older (and presumably wiser). Now that they’re more adept at handling the fame machine and shutting out public expectations, maybe

When you say “...I think both sides are gross to even make that “relationship” happen” you’re not blaming the younger person, right? I’m hoping I’m just misunderstanding what you mean - could you elaborate please?

I by no means agree with Rob Reiner’s thinking with this - but the only thing I can glean is he (Reiner) heard McCarthy post-audition and assumed he (McCarthy) thought he had it in the bag?

The live action version of “Cinderella” was a high point in every imaginable way. And I will love that blue dress forever.

Is anyone a tad let down by the costumes? As much as GOT: Original Recipe varied writing wise, they were always on point with the costume creations.

I will say this was one of the funnier Dirt Bags written in a while. The Man with the Dragon Tattoo jab made me laugh.

Its interesting that that others disagree disagree with you and feel that McGregor was a high point of BoP. Because I - and I say this as a fan of McGregor - also thought he was majorly overacting too. I thought Chris Messina did a much more convincing job selling menace and danger as Zzasz.

I have to respectfully disagree. I normally am a fan of McGregor, but thought he was verging into camp with his performance. I was shocked by how offputting it was (to me). Chris Messina did a much more convincing job as Zzasz in selling villainy.
