I’ve read that the showrunners planned on introducing Miranda as Mouse’s* Yale-based dorm roommate during S3.

Don’t forget Sara & Clare Bronfman...daughters of Edgar Bronfman.
When “Smallville” was buzzworthy in its first few seasons, Mack was considered one of the stronger (if not *the* strongest) acting talents on the show.
It’s definitely weird that Uma is not playing the lead, but the lead’s mother.
I’m fairly certain the host brains (whether red or white) are all spherical shaped and normally placed within the Brita Filter contraption.
Oh.My.God.
His overall age is a very valid point and really does shift the weight of his statements.
Perhaps. It just felt his lack of emotional intelligence in other parts of his letter was used against him wholesale. Where I think each (questionable?) statement he made needs to be separately parsed within that particular context.
Maybe. But the issue I still have is that MILF’s assertion is framed as if he was being insulting. Most older people (in principal) tend to be more mature than their younger counterparts. Wanting to date someone who is (again conceptually) more mature than your contemporary dating group is not necessarily an…
Perhaps I’m being dense, but I didn’t feel like MILF was, per Savage, “slagging off younger women”. Stating that he finds older women attractive because of their confidence is not at all the same as saying that his is attraction to older women is based on younger women being immature and uncertain.
I feel like you’re missing my point. I’m conceding that while Haddish may not be everyone’s jam, it’s still rude for persons to come onto an article/thread that is celebrating her hot streak solely to trash her and her aforementioned streak.
The context is different. With DS, the Eye is not as intrinsically tied to the culture and history of the hero.
Granted, “The Girl and The Robot” isn’t from their shared EP (it’s from Röyksopp’s third album and Robyn is the featured singer), but it’s still one of the most perfect songs I’ve ever heard. It still makes me angry it wasn’t a massive hit.
I’m so sorry for your loss. :(
I agree. I think her music is pretty listenable. So I don’t understand where all this vitriol for her is coming from.
Haddish is clearly not everyone’s cup of tea. That said, she has dilligently worked the comedy circuit and seems genuinely appreciative of this moment. She’s not a joke stealer (as far as we know). And she seems like a relatively decent person.
I’m so sorry for your (and your friend’s) loss.
True enough. I actually feel bad for entertainment writers covering big properties such as this. I mean, they have to find an angle (even a contrarian one) that could be like kicking a hornets’ nest.
I actually don’t get what you mean. But feel free to explain...and I actually mean that in a non-snarky way. :)
Oh, hush. We all know Barsanti is referencing what most SW fans are thinking. That many are simultaneously bummed & concerned with the loss of Lord and Miller. And that the addition of Howard, who lacks storytelling flair to make a ‘good’ Star Wars feeling, is fairly worrisome.
