Only appropriate that on 4th of July the American once again conquers the Brit.

Gun fact pontiac was almost never profitable. It was in the red for over 20 years streight. I think it finally made A profit on the last year or two. The feds forced GM to only keep 3 brands they had to fight tooth and nail just to have a 4th brand to keep GMC. Obama killed Pontiac and its never coming back nowbecause

Crap lowering suspsension + NYC roads = banged oil pans. CBs will run forever as long as they have oil pressure.

Captain Pedantic to the rescue....

Our family had a 1997 Burb that I was gifted as a young dad. I loved that truck and it was reliable up to 250K miles when I sold it. The down pipes rusted out and I so I added long tube headers and a full Magnaflow system, it sounded hilariously awesome with the old 350.

I’ve driven tons of old trucks (which is what these are now) and the GMT400 is no worse than any of the others. They all have mushy brake pedals, but they’re perfectly acceptable. the face-lifted interior that came some time in the mid to late 90s is the one to have. Fords of this era still had the dueling I-beam

I must be in the one per of the country that doesn’t have this issue with BMWs. I do, however, have this issue with Mercedes: ignoring every and all traffic laws that exist.

As a owner of a BMW, those who drive inferior autos should be well aware of our intentions and therefore not ever have to signal.

or – my personal favorite! – battery-filled tube-socks.

So they’re turning them into BMWs?

I spent a ton of time looking for a stock 6.0 ls3 car a couple years ago for under $20k. Couldn't do it. I wanted one of these so bad when they were new...

I wanted one of these bad when I was 18 and 19

Hah!

By far the most fun car on this list too.

Oh crap, you posted my choice as well. I am greyed, unfortunately. Nice work!

Ummm.....Gonna have to respectively disagree on that one.

Fan-freakin’-tastic. I really wanted to find one when I had to buy my latest car, but I ended up with a ‘98 Civic instead. Still a good car, but it’s missing something.

I’m a big fan of the Accord. It’s pretty far removed from today’s, but the best car I’ve ever owned was a ‘90 coupe with a 5-speed. Insanely reliable, attractively designed, and pretty stinking fun. I’m pretty sure I would still be driving it today if I hadn’t screwed up the rocker arms, bending a valve.
