In the late 20's Indian Motorcycles took a stab at creating a car. I believe they made less than 10 of them.

I think the answer to the why no 4.3 question was that its too wide. the 3.6 is a 60 degree v and the 4.3 is a 90.
4.3L, non gas-sipping transmission programming, and seats that feel worse than a broken down 90's ranger seat would fix this truck. I'm 6'3" and this truck is awful to sit in due to low lumbar support and skinny shoulders. It is like they took a ranger seat, put the lumbar support too low and then molded the…
Although the typical Veyron owner doesn't use most, if any, of the performance, I still have tremendous respect for the car in its capabilities and how it affected the automotive landscape of the 2000s. Today 1000 hp may not be particularly impressive in the hypercar world, but ten years ago it forced us to rethink…
I doubt it. You can get into a good C7 for $55k, the Focus RS is probably going to be $35k+, if not into $40k range with options. Plus, if you go with the RS, people will constantly be reminding you "you could've had a V8".
Absolutely, blocking traffic is a "asshat move" but doing 100mph on a highway in a good car (I mean it's not like driving these cars on the limit) is not what I call "idiots are doing street racing on an open road OMG THEY ARE SO DANGEROUS THEY COULD DECIMATE ALL THE POPULATION AND TORTURE KITTY : PUNISH THEM".

I know I'm on a Saturn kick lately, but I submit this 1992 Saturn SC.
Pretty much any British sports car. Many of them were (and still are) fantastic on the track but are absolute torture to drive (or attempt to drive) on a regular basis.
The Cobalt SS punched weigh above it's weight during C&Ds Lightning Lap some years ago.
No other lovers of the old Autobacs livery, huh? I'm surprised, that orange and white on gold always screamed speed at me...
Bet he can't do it twice.
It will go about 40 miles on a charge. It doesn't matter if the battery runs out because the gas engine will kick in. Although if you are stuck in traffic, it may not come on at all or briefly cycle on for a minute or two every so often.
I always found my old Chevy Volt very zen-like when commuting in traffic and I kinda miss it in that regard.
Jeff can go both ways.
It's amazing what Jeff Gordon can do when Brad Keselowski isn't wrecking him.
