Not sure but Carid does lol

Lol yep true that too, parts companies should include a bottle of lysol with every shipment over $50

I might be an unpopular opinion here but why? There are multiple things you can do with out going to the parts store. Also if your smart about it there is a chance this might make for some deals.

Why not the SUV Honda made for this, the Passport. It doesnt have the best offroad capabilities in the world but I have seen where a good set of tires can get it into places it shouldn’t.

One of the first small SUVs/luxury SUVs with AWD in 1991. Suprising the transfer case and transmission are not the week points. It’s still the fuel injection system on the 4.3l

And could be a thing of the past with daily driver parking/hand brakes are now being replaced with buttons...

Yep that and 2nd gen NSXs. There are 2 plants and their R&D so we see MFG plates all the time

Yep all the time but I’m 30 min from a Honda plant so might be a bit skewed results.

And Horses mouth? How about experience from someone who currently owns and works on a 2000 540i sport since ‘16 and friends who are BMW Techs.

Yeah I might be digging a whole with no ladder seeing his reply. But yep multiple times I’ve come out and be like “welp im not driving this today...”

Reliable for a BMW is the correct way of putting it. Oil leaks upon oil leaks, Coolant hoses snapping when you look at them wrong and they run all over the place, expensive Aux Water pump if you want heat, 1990s designed water cooled Alternator, Window regulators that just stop working, and finally the Timing chain

Eh it was pretty much banned

Here is a bit more in depth talk about it. Basically it created negative pressure by using underbody aero holding it closer to the track. Not confirmed but one of the theories was coil binding and raised suspension allowing the car to suck to the ground in the corners. Chassis was stiffed and a few other things.

Was a major problem on the SUVs but that motor includes Impalas, Camaros, and Caddys. Even the old G8 Base would and still eat Timing chains. The LGX is the better motor

Too bad the LFX eats timing chains.

I mean if Drag racing is his thing, maybe? Yeah could swap it out though with the CTS-V Coupe but then it becomes is it a Caddy or ZL1 and the ZL1s look better from the back. Wonder where the XLR-Vs are price wise

Probably should have specified that but hopefully its understood the SMG is not worth it.

Decent picks all around but with how the used car market is this list is only going to get bigger. This is just a start

Definitely a far out there/futuristic car but what bothers me that the instrument cluster dash is a different color than the actual dash...

Im with you on why doenst GM just Turbo an LT or LS v8. Their S/C are inherently weak to heat soak because they use a Roots blower, not Twin scroll like the Dodge Demon.
