Here is a bit more in depth talk about it. Basically it created negative pressure by using underbody aero holding it closer to the track. Not confirmed but one of the theories was coil binding and raised suspension allowing the car to suck to the ground in the corners. Chassis was stiffed and a few other things.

Was a major problem on the SUVs but that motor includes Impalas, Camaros, and Caddys. Even the old G8 Base would and still eat Timing chains. The LGX is the better motor

Too bad the LFX eats timing chains.

I mean if Drag racing is his thing, maybe? Yeah could swap it out though with the CTS-V Coupe but then it becomes is it a Caddy or ZL1 and the ZL1s look better from the back. Wonder where the XLR-Vs are price wise

Probably should have specified that but hopefully its understood the SMG is not worth it.

Decent picks all around but with how the used car market is this list is only going to get bigger. This is just a start

Definitely a far out there/futuristic car but what bothers me that the instrument cluster dash is a different color than the actual dash...

Im with you on why doenst GM just Turbo an LT or LS v8. Their S/C are inherently weak to heat soak because they use a Roots blower, not Twin scroll like the Dodge Demon.

How to fix Cadillac in 5 moves.

Why is there not an Si version? I understand the Type R is the Hatchback but thats just too much for just day to day traffic. Not a fan of the sedan and need 4 doors so no to the coupe.

Could be smart, but I dont think Fuel economy is a key here on an old heavy 2004 aerodynamics platform. Sure its would be good to get closer to mid 20s but not their point

100% agree, GM takes risks and then absolutely junks it. They get close to perfecting it and big brass shuts it down. The list of could be great cars goes on and on.

Very true and people are spending stupid money anyway for trucks, is wouldnt hurt profit at all

While I did agree at one point, they should make the standard amber

The New Ram is the same way with certain high level trims. And I dont like it ether, Its better than just a red tail light that does double duty as a brake light and an indicator, but it can be that hard to make a car look good with a brake light and an indicator...

Yeah I have a feeling that’s another reason why they got discontinued. New isn’t terrible at that price when new Edges are that with one less row. Still does seem fairly high and used is definitely the way to go

Might be a tad older 2013 ish but you can find a nice Ford Flex. Yes some what of a box but with the EcoBoost fairly quick and nimble for its size. And can get mid 20s mpg combined.

Just wait till you see the Carolina Squat

I think you mean they are built by Magna Steyr on a BMW platform and Subaru.
