And I get that, its all about the business case. Which is unfortunate now, multiple great cars were developed and released with out one (It is also true of a few crappy cars as well).

And there is exactly one within 25 miles of me (fairly big city). I am talking even smaller than that. Also the Civic comes with a ton of standard features and the brand name (of which Honda relies too much on). Give the Truck enough to pass NHTSA standards and ship it.

You could give it 4x4 but I was just thinking AWD because the most likely candidates would be FWD platforms, like a Transit Connect or Ram ProMaster city

It would be nice to see something as humble as the original Ranger or S10. Not everyone needs/wants to haul a racecar trailer or lift it sky high for mall crawling.

Have a bad story about one of these. We tried to race one in a 24hr of Le mons. We got 6 laps....

Or dont do any of that and still camp and then get your SUV stuck and get pulled out by RLL racing. With all that still have a good time (mid-ohio this year)

Not a fan of GM lately.

Why? How is it better than the Kia? Interior wise it might be slightly better but Kia has come a long way. Havent sat in a Arteon yet but if you want to compare like for like, the Telluride has a much better interior than the Atlas.

Ok ill bite. So all of which equates to none longer than a year? Thats what I would equate to. Even if you have had one or two longer than a couple years the rest wouldn’t be driven that much. So you cant even gauge reliability.

But its wrong wheel bias. The Stinger is RWD or AWD with the GTS being a RWD AWD bias with the 3.3l.

inb4 WrOnG WhEeL DRiVe. Yeah thats not bad but I’d row my own in a 2.0T Accord. Though I think the Avalon some how looks better

Maybe not much better but still better. Especially when you consider what happens to VWs when they get near 100K. At least with the Kia your covered until then.

For a similar price, no doubt. With the crazy deals Kia is running on the Stinger there really isnt a reason to consider this. Its going to get forgotten just like the CC did

Yep, I know my 2 are well after that. His Mail jeep should be ok but the others?

What about Emissions? I know Ohio and Michigan are pretty relaxed, but would your Jeeps pass emission testing in California? I know 2 of my cars wouldnt....

Loss of a legend.

Neutral: Boring line-up meets boring sales

And yep it's a piece of shit Volkswagen. Who would have guessed

“In secret”. Bullshit. Why not just say the story behind closed doors. We all knew this was coming since 2012, just did not know what form and how would they get there.

I do agree though majority of engine failures today is lack of oil/oil maintenance
