If you like the refresh styling thats fine but majority opinion says opposite. I love the original design of the 6th gen but this update is badddd.

Dont get me wrong I am a huge fan of the Camaro. (one of many post defending it) But they done goofed on the styling. And there is always the nagging complaint of not being able to see out of it.

I mean they could have just given us all of the performance Australia and European models we dont get and I would have been fine with it.

While cars are on a decline, I still think Pontiac could have done well. Just look at the Stinger compared to the G8. It just wasnt as profitable as Buick at the time.

3rd Gear: Just in case you still think it was because of Brexit, here is reasons its not.

Little late but

“looks up previous generations of European Civics” Damn that is a whole lot of ugly. Especially whatever they did with the 8th gen. We got a decent looking 8th gen with one of the best blues ever made, Fiji Blue.

Agreed and along with import duty lifted

Yeah its not.

Went over this yesterday, its not all about Brexit. Honda doesnt have a market there anymore. And as the engines and transmissions are sourced from the NA, why just not ship the whole car instead.

Thats a good comparison and you could say that about all of the French car makers here in the US in the 80s.

As some one who doesn’t live in the EU, I dont know how it felt Honda was doing in Europe. I am only looking at the numbers and as some who deals with them, when was Honda ever big? Honda has never been over 2% in market share even in the best of times.

As i said on a Oppo post

Was remarking how the plate was hung. Not that it was a rx8, even so...

It sparked a memory as Lee posted a different rx-8 with its front plate. (Which is above in the article and now below) So I was remarking how much better/cleaner of a look it is with the plate on the visor. And just an idea for the front plate. (Why do I have to spell it out? No clue)

I dont know the legality of it but I saw an RX-8 over the weekend that had its license plate on the passenger visor. Like below and to be honest it looked way better than what is above.

You could say what does the Saturn and Jim Harbaugh have in common?

Sounds like shit, no seriously they dont sound good at all. Buddy rented an RS version with the “Corvette” inspired/tuned suspension. Yes the steering was agile but every bump was jarring and seem like the car was falling apart because of it. Too many squeaks and rattles from a car with less than 1000 miles on it.

Step dad had a 97 like below. Hated every moment in it. My mom had a first gen Pontiac Montana and it blew that thing out of the water. Just nicer overall, ride, interior, power, and fuel economy.
