As a Ohioian thats lived in all 3 Cs and near Athens most of this statie stuff is BS. I have been driving in Ohio for 10+ years and you know the only time i got a ticket from a Statie? Kentucky. Granted they have nothing else to do (which if you think about it is a good thing) but I used to run I-71 both ways from

Ah the Wide Track years, one of the best lineups in the early 60s. And I mean their add did have a point

IIRC those were TLX paddle shifters. But my point was made, they got called out for it and i totally agree with Harris, it looks cheap.

Sort of, you can get a stripped down version for 28k or you can get a loaded i4 accord for 28k. Plus youre cross shopping RWD vs FWD, which rare with someone who is just looking for an all year daily driver.

True but Id argue wrong class.

Same could be said about a decent amount of car companies now that they go off of reputation, mainly because its so hard to break it. BMW for example. Their only saving grace is the M2 right now and even thats abit over priced.

Woah now, the civic is definitely different but its still the top selling compact and looks better than the plastic Corolla. And the Accord is one of the better looking in its class Exterior and Interior wise. The Mazda 6 is good looking car but that interior is lackluster to say the least. The Camry is suuuuper meh,

Neutral- Honda needs to step out of its shell and get back to what made them great in enthusists eyes. Chris Harris pointed this out in the NSX review, its lineup is conservative other than the NSX. And with no Si right now Honda doesnt have an affordable performance car.

That with Accord Headlights

Still think the CB7 is one of the best. Owned 2 and its quintessential 90s honda. Good reliable transportation when you want it to be and can easily be modified with H22s to be seriously quick.

If I owned one it would depend. If I wanted a new car, take the buy back. If I wanted to keep if for the mpg I’d get it fixed an then have it tuned and modified with the extra money to make it a quick fun DD.

As an Ohioan, Inspections? We don’t need no stinking inspections. (Unless you live in a county where your river caught fire more than once and might actually be a good idea for the state).

Didn’t know that about GMC but it makes sense, Trucks =$$$. Like i said it annoys me when people clump pontiac in the same group as the rest. It was finally turning around and becoming an enthusiast brand and like you said profitable and then shit hit the fan. And now we can only dream of what could have been.

They arent bad, like the interior and some are FWD sleepers but you can’t convince me that this looks good. And it attracted the wrong drivers. I cant tell you the last time I saw a clean one or with all the lights working

Still don’t get why Pontiac gets lumped in with Olds, Plymouth, Saab, and the rest. Of these GM was slowly bringing Pontiac back. Granted it pretty much was dead in the 90s and early 00s other than the TA and GTO. They were working on a GTO replacement and a G8 Ute. They had a quick little roadster that looked even

My CB7 runs on and throws dirt for a living at 340k+. Dafuq did were you hitting?

So first Fisker and now sweden with this electric rail, man everyone is stealing James May’s ideas. Pretty sure he talked about this in TG news but it was more framed as bumper cars.

95 and your right, I though GM stopped the Chevy 2 door version and only kept the gmc Yukon GT after the interior face lift.

Here’s motor trends view in 96. Oh and it beat out the likes of the Grand Cherokee, Explorer, 95 Taco, Pathfinder, Range Rover, and Tropper. And as a GMT 400 owner, seriously get one.
