After Dodge released the second generation Ram, pickup trucks couldn't just be tools anymore. They had to be big and intimidating, and as luxurious as a private jet. The idea of an aspirational "glam truck" started with that Ram.

More like Avalon and Taurus. Impala is in the bigger chassis category. The Malibu is the rival for those two.
Well you could say the Camaro and Mustang war.
Thats what i was thinking. Ok i agree that the blocking traffic was stupid but what is the difference between that and Patrick George getting thrown in jail for speeding? 90+ vs 100+mph? It wasnt a race? Doesnt matter you were on public roads. This site is full of idiots
Id buy it since Ohio doesnt give a damn as long as its notarized. Except Cuyahoga (Cleveland) but the only reason we ever talk about them is when LeBron is in town.
yes its a big truck but everything else is also getting bigger. The next thing is that there are not any in dealerships. I have only seen 6 that were V6 4X4 in the central ohio. I know we are not a big market but with 8 chevy dealers you would think there would be more.
Agreed I think the importance of the refresh of the Mid size trucks shows the decline of the sedan. Of course the Accord and Camry will continue to sell thousands because they are the best option for a family that doesnt want/need a truck. But for the average american it is now a status symbol. Its the notion of i can…
The Acura Legend or Vigor
Dont forget that the Insurance rates for these trucks have sky rocketed too.
Sorry but just Hero will do. Funny to see how stuck up this site is.
Still have this poster from when the GTR first came out
Sounds like a project with that volvo but would be wicked. And actually that is what i am looking at 5.3l and 6.0l blocks. But i mean how easy is it to build up the 3800 and what kind of power? im not looking to go crazy but I am trying to weigh my options. If i do go V6 route im pulling it and going for top end…
Nice, have a 1998 Camaro with the 3800 series II and its a great engine but cant decide what to do with it, keep it and build it up or LS swap. All i know its a bitch trying to get those spark plugs out (Unless its got better headers, i think 00-02 had them)
Maybe, i mean Penske has been strong but Roush has been no where and losing Carl Edwards is a big blow.
As a nascar fan I think Toyota will get its first Championship before Ford gets another one. And as a GM guy 9 of last 10.
Ahh ok im over in dublin and yeah I heard MWR was on board with the development too but right now it seems like its just going to sit there. and no it definitely does count as a draw but National Trails is (still not Cbus though) with SCCA and Mopar Nationals. I going to try and get to some SCCA events over there this…
Yeah but its an old oval. We used to have a race in downtown but thats been gone for ages. I think he is refering to Mid-Ohio which is about an hour away.
Agreed it was a amazing win for THE Ohio State University and pretty big win for the BIGTEN. And it shut that F#$%er Mark May up about the bigten, our win and MSU and Wisconsin wins over Big 12 and SEC teams.
ehhh Cbus motor speedway isnt bad especially for demo type racing but still is an oval. We do have rally cross, drag racing, and autocross at National Trails but even that is 20-30 minutes east. If your referring to Mid Ohio, thats even longer of a stretch calling it Columbus.
Ummm
