If its a higher mileage car (150k+) and you overhaul the Trans fluid (eg. drop the pan) you could be putting in a new trans with in the next 10k

Depends on how you view of each era. For power to engine size and handling yes. If you go by design then hell no. Also remember the 454s, 455s, 440s, 426s, 427s were very generously under rated. They were pumping 500lbft and most likely 500+hp with points and a Carburetor.

Pontiac Banshee. Still love the styling bit biased though due to being an f-body owner

Yeah people are doing this in the US Formula Drift for years and it makes sense. American V8s are easily tuneable to 500hp+ and 500 lbft without turbos and without spending big bucks. Also the engines are only at 75-80% unlike imports where with Turbos the engines are high strung and close to 100%

Neutral: How Should We Fund Our Roads? Gas tax? VMT? Let them go to hell, mad max style?

The sky is blue and the grass is green. Nothing new here move along. Though the most reliable for Audi is the Allroad?

I dont care what it is, i have wanted to drive one ever since i saw it on Cruis'n USA. I loved the tail lights and side vents

Well you could say that about its opposite the Camaro, mainly mid to late Second gen. The motors were more useful as lead weights and its really hard to find one now that hasnt been modified or use for Drag racing or Oval track.

Very true with the Chuck Norris body style (1993-01). Can attest to it mostly, almost bought one and it had less than 130K on it and the rear end and trans both had been replaced/rebuilt. The family mechanic has worked on a number of these and its always the trans for these years. What some of the problem is is that

Neutral: Cheap Versus Inexpensive What's a good example of a cheap car versus an inexpensive one?

New: last gen F-bodies

Here's a recall that's kind of disturbing : 7,061 Caprice cop cars might just shift out of park and into gear without hitting the brake pedal or might shift between gears while showing a different gear.

Whats the most expensive car ever sold?

see comment above

That sucks, one of the better looking cars out there and actually was starting to compete at the end. They were giving Corvette a run for their money which will make the Corvettes better. I mean Porsche and Ferrari push Corvette but its different when its a home (in country) rivalry than just group class rivalry.

CLK GTR, their best attempt at the flying car

Thats the one thing about Trucks is everyone tells you what its getting, could be single digits or in the twenties but there is also what they think their truck is getting and what its actually getting. For me the best i ever have done in my 5.0L K1500 is 20 mpg, now what i probably got was high 18s almost 19 but that

SS Sonic or Cruze with the 2.0T would be nice
