So in my previous post we were talking about Rust control/undercoating options. To be honest I had already made up my mind on what I was going to do but wanted Oppo’s feedback. Which thank you to all who contributed.
For all the rust belt inhabitants, I have a question about what others had done for rust proofing?
Over this past weekend I went up to Chicago to get a GX470 that has spent all of its life in North Carolina. Its an 05 with just over 103K miles.
So I have been looking to replace my k1500 for awhile now and I think i have finally settled on a used Lexus GX470. I have done my research and do diligence into this including a break down of getting a Truck vs SUV. With that I will consider suggestions but your going to have to really convince me. (budget ~ $12k)
This past weekend we went up to BlackHawk Farms Raceway in upper Illinois with my buddies 92 Saturn SC. So coming up from Ohio and through Chicago, the Tow vehicle tapped out multiple times. Once right in the middle of Chicago traffic.... So to fix the situation and save the weekend we rented a 2018 Tacoma to finish…
Anyone coming up for the race at Mid-ohio?
2001 NASCAR edition Intrepid. I forgot they raced these. And they have not aged well, and that slogan
Was already pumped for this weekend for Indy and Pirelli. And now even more now because IMSA is coming for 2018! Haven’t seen anyone post it yet. Also sorry COTA they are skipping next year.
Saw this over the weekend.
The reason I bring this up is that I saw a 90s S10 ZR2 with some battle scars. A rear shock absorber just hanging off the rear axle and not attached to the frame, typical fender well rust, whole cut out where the cab corners rust, and what I assume was cat back exhaust as there were no mufflers.
The post im talking about is the McLaren MSO HS. I was thinking along the lines of the Lock Me Momma Like a Wagon Wheel but for OPPO to help boost our status with our new overlords. I know my MS paint skill are pretty baller but I know people with actual talent could do way better if they wanted too so just throwing…
When you do you know when to move on from a vehicle?
Put these on over the weekend. I think they look amazing and well improved over the cracked and fogged over OEMs. Only problem is the typical incandescent to LED issues resulting in the car thinking a light is out.
Too many Cobra and fords for 427 day, time to right the ship with some Yenkos and a few other GMs
I dont care that its just a teaser pic, but that profile looks amazing. Along with those head lights i just hope its lighter like we all are expecting. Though id have to wait until their used, so see you in 2020.
Oh that 'dega tail
I dont know if anyones posted this or even saw this but if you look closely there is a couple of messages. the second relates to below
... is always the answer.
The winter mix was only supposed to be a light dusting at least in southwest/central Ohio. Yeah about half inch of ice and inch of snow. I know that isnt much but I saw at least 10 cars in ditches last night on I-71 and 2 cars spin out in front and right behind me. Should have had a dash cam...
Well it totaled an Audi TT (audi at fault) and still drove home, as you can see the silver mirror. Was the family's work horse until my sister traded it in with 345k miles on it for a 04 Accord. Our mechanic knows the dealer and said he put money in it and sold it for $1.5K. So its out there somewhere collecting…
