Prey is one of those games where if you’re going to play it with anything other than mouse and keyboard, you should honestly just give it a pass. It was definitely not balanced for controller play and the aim-assist gives only a token amount of correction. Even on the easiest settings, by the time you’ve got your

One thing that sticks in my mind is the amazing Aston Martin flip from Casino Royale. It wasn’t that it met my expectations but rather that it exceeded them...

So far, my reading is that the Downeys Jr. represent a parody on Americans at the time saying that all Vietnamese look the same.

I recently decided to get back into Fallout 4, my favorite, which I previously had over 200 hours in (Xbox). Something had glitched and when I went back in, I too-quickly mashed the wrong buttons and - poof - deleted my save file. When I tried to just start again, I got very depressed...I just didn’t want to go

Yeah, it’s language and slang that originated with gay/drag/POC communities and has been appropriated by w*ite people. Once you see it in this context, it’s officially time to stop using it, ironically or otherwise.

See I respectfully disagree with this take and the ones saying that not much happens. I felt like there was a ton of important moments to gleam from, however so subtle. Especially the stuff like the son in his room playing with his toys, there’s metaphors built into scenes like that. I also think its banality is sort

Hardspace: Shipbreaker, another game focused on destroying rather than building which also came out in 2022, kind of slipped through the cracks for me. Something about the measured precision of efficient destruction as a counterweight to all the open world building we’ve been fed really appealed to me.

Discworld (the book series) is tolerable, reminiscent of Douglas Adams’ writing but cornier and trying way too hard to be funny. The Discworld videogame was a similar experience but way uglier than a book and with more annoying adventure game puzzles.

I don’t think it’s an April Fools joke, I think its a normal joke. I hate this website too, but its incredibly obvious that that’s a joke.

Surprise!  It’s all three at once.

Well, since I never get out of the greys here any more, I’ve been replaying Dishonored 2. Actually, I can’t recall if I ever finished it first time around.

And you mean Jenny McCarthyism, right?

You can put it in slideshow format on your cell. Probably on your desktop too.

I don’t think Hank is dumb, I think he is just desperate.

People fall for obvious scams all the time. My wife as part of her job deals every day with people being conned/scammed or who have been conned, in many cases far more obvious than the one depicted on this show. Sometimes they are cheated out of large sums of money and then they turn around and get taken for more

Interesting. Did not pick up on the tune. Which ties in to the Ferris Buehler reference in ep 1.

lol that is so stupid. We saw an earlier flashback with Danvers and her deceased son, lovingly playing together with Twist & Shout on the radio in the background, which gave more than enough context for her discomfort with hearing it again. Having a criminal also ominously whistle it at her is just ridiculous. A hat

I’ve found it amusing how many people talk about Karlach and Gale and Wyll. In the opening moments of the game I tried to free Gale from the portal and lost him. Never saw him again. The grove was decimated and I never met Wyll. I killed Karlach in the woods when she confronted me, not knowing she was a potential team

Same. Silksong is the only game currently on my 2024 wishlist, but now I’m worried it won’t be this year at all.
