Given the nerds that write Futurama, that is a distinct possibility.

I guess you’ll have to wait from your yearly performance review to find out, huh?

I’ve finished my playthrough of the original RE4...or at least as much as I care to play for now. I finished the Main Story campaign, Seperate Ways, and Operation Ada (or close enough to it, because the game crashed during one of my many attempts to beat Krauser); I also dipped my toe into The Mercenaries.

(ketchup haters be damned)

He also watches and reads (to me, anyway) an insane amount of movies, TV, and books/short stories/plays:

This is a pretty strong start to the season; I hope it holds up. Last season was a bit underwhelming, with everyone but Lazlo and Colin stuck in go-nowhere plots. I mean, I know this isn’t some prestige drama, so I have no expecteations that it should be some well-developed serial, but if they are going to set up some

and i mean, the flash is gonna be the biggest loser in warner bros 100 year history. i think if that exact same movie came out 4 years ago it would have done 500 million in its sleep.

I am in reasonably convenient driving distance from the State Fairgrounds—about an hour—but I just don’t really like the State Fair all that much. It is occasionally tempting, but there’s just too many damn people (check the handle!) and not enough interesting to do there. If I was going for the rides, I’d just rather

*cough* It’s already happening *cough*

FWIW, he was the least interesting part of Newsradio.

Missing context: he extended his hand out for a shake and when Trump extended his hand, he pulled it back, ran it through his hair, and shouted “Psych!”

Honestly, I’m starting to become a big fan of Old Dutch’s Restaurante Style line of chips. There’s not as much variety as Doritos, but the ones they have are pretty damn amazing:

My unsolicited opinion on the few movies on this list I have seen:

I played the Lies of P demo, too. I was having a hell of a time with the bosses—I gave up after trying to get past the second one—and I couldn’t pin down exactly why. Then I watched an Iron Pineapple video and he figured it out: the dodging just isn’t all that useful. It’s fine for the rank-and-file automatons who

I can’t be too shocked that a slideshow article is sloppily put together, since it will likely be lost to the ether in a few days, but is the majority of this listicle based solely on the last two seasons.?!? It really seems so. I wasn’t expecting some major IASIP lore drop, but this just seems lazy.

Also, last reports that came in to this desk say that Fargo is in North Dakota.

Please keep your hands off this one, Zaslav.  TCM is one of the rare remaining cable channels that still feels like it still has a unique identity, that isn’t the usual slop of original programming, reality/competition shows, and reruns.

Is it OK if I didn’t like the movie because it just wasn’t all that good?  It wasn’t terrible by any rights, but just so, so mediocre.

I won’t lie and say I know alot about The Coup, but I do remember the original cover of their 2001 album Party Music:

I’m glad this got made and even gladder that Boots Riley is continuing to prosper (and uplifting a whole crew with him!). Sorry To Bother You was a delightfully weird trip that just gets better with every rewatch.
