I’m sure #TheStory is great and all, but was there any benefit to telling it through tweets, as opposed to...I dunno...a blog post?!?  I guess you can compose it while on the shitter, so that’s a plus, but, outside of that, it just seems more work for the storyteller.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who felt this! Ultimately, I do feel like this episode might end up as a divisive episode. Some will laud it for its genius at pushing a concept as far as it can go while others will find it to be another example of R&M being too clever for its own good.

I’m glad he’s on the right side of this issue.  Sure, as you point out, his past history would indicate that he would be smart enough to see through this Q bullshit, but it happens.  The movement also appeals to people who fancy them outsiders or rebels and aging rock stars tend to be in that demographic.

I do still watch Real Time fairly regularly. He is unbearably smug and often wrong in that “I’m just saying what everyone is thinking, but no-one is saying” way that libertarians love. You may have a point. My first playthrough of it was on the Gamecube (it was supposed to be an exclusive, so I bought the console specifically for it!), so maybe that specific controller is better suited to that control scheme than the PS4 Dual Shock controller that I used on my most recent attempt to play.
