So that’s what a functioning comment feature looks like!

I’m not really a regular coffee drinker—it tends to really mess with my sinuses for whatever reason—but I do go through occasional binges. I’ll sit in my local Caribou Coffee in my idle time (ya know, back when that was safe) and down 2-3 large cold brews in an afternoon. I’ll be fine for the duration of my time at

“Come in here, dear boy, have a cigar

Trump isn’t even good enough to be *this* version of Captain America:

A big part of Trump’s power is his ability to hog all of the attention. His supporters, of course, hang on his every word, but his detractors show up to register their disgust. While more reasonable people might get some coverage, he just has to say something stupid or controversial or incendiary and it’s all anyone

I seem to remember that there was also a Big Mac wrap?!? Like it was literally just a burger chopped up to fit in the wrap, with special sauce and shredded lettuce? It feels too dumb to be real, but I swear I remember it.

As any good Christian knows, God only listens to yours prayers if you are really loud and showy about it.  Sorry, all you chumps who are quietly praying to yourself!

And the retcon to the Doctor’s origin remains bullshit.

I seem to be in the minority among the commenters here (and with my circle of friends), but I really liked it too, even if that one plot lapse—you, know, the one which will be the subject of a hundred think-pieces and hot takes—might have knocked it down a peg or two. I was wondering all throughout if they were ever

I will admit that some of my affection for Morrowind may be rose-tinted glasses, no doubt. Some of it is tied to the novelty of the experience, some of it is tied to nostalgia for the simpler time and place that was 2002. I am sure that if I replayed it now, I would become irritated with the cluttered, pop-up

Yeah, neither Oblivion or Skyrim captured my attention quite the way Morrowind did. I played quite far into both latter-day Elder Scrolls games, but at some point, I realized I was just going through the motions, so I just stopped playing. The reasons are mostly petty, but legion nonetheless: the damnable

Right?!? “Am I laughing at this for the right reasons?” is about as pointless as “What is the canonical meaning behind this work of art/book/movie/other piece of media?” Curiosity and academic scholarship is fine, but you shouldn’t look at these things as puzzles or questions that have a correct solution or answer. It’s getting to the point where even making fun of the stupid shit that the Trump administration is doing is getting tiresome. While he’s still technically in the office, he is still newsworthy enough to demand coverage, but once he’s out, can we just stop paying attention?

I haven’t played really any 2020 games this year, excepting a brief fling with Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout, a game that fulfills the Othello tagline: “A minute to learn...a lifetime to master”. Anyone who claims expertise in that game is more likely claiming that they’ve logged enough time on the game that they’ve

I’m not a huge fan of the Skinner-box techniques that abound in far too many mobile games (and a lot of the AAA games, if I’m being honest), but I can understand the comforting appeal of them. Would you rather the critic be disingenuous and pick something else just to impress the readers?

. I don’t know if I’m going to do everything the game has to offer if the endgame/postgame stuff is as brutal as people make it sound, but it feels like this game has a lot to offer, and I don’t see myself rushing to get it off my to-do list.

I tend to agree with you on that point; more critical discourse is always better. I suppose a format where every critic got a couple picks to expound upon(similar to what they do in the Games end-of-year list) or some kind of roundtable discussion (on the subjects of best, worst, overrated, underrated) would work

Well, they did chop up the ballots article for this one, which...it’s a choice, I guess? “What did our individual critics vote for? #7 will surprise you!”
