I agree but I find that most companies often put an older “re-tuned” engine to give more mid range torque and power. If that’s the ideal engine setup for a naked bike why not put in a triple or dare I say a v-twin? Hence why I believe KTM is killing it with their naked models.

It always amazes me the power and displacement differences in the different engines but the MPGs are almost identical.

2006 Buell Ulysses. This is my third bike, dirt two were Harleys. Stuck with what I knew how to work on and dropped 200 pounds from the bike. Great riding position and trail capabilities. Oh yeah and much quicker stock than my 2003 FXDX that had $3k put into it.
