Our overwhelming desire to avoid the Boogeyman of Sharia law has led down a rather ironic path.

A) I feel a bit old now. At 34, it never occurred to me that anyone would think the Lohan version was even worth watching, when the Mills version was basically the reason to be excited for a Disney Channel free preview weekend (back when Disney was a premium cable channel).

I might be missing something, but isn’t it reasonable to think that Mean Girls was the pinnacle of Lindsay Lohan’s film career?

I am happy to say I have yet to hear this song, even accidentally, and I’m going to see how long I can hold that streak for.

How much of that is attributable to that little “anti-scalper” scheme that has her fans listening every day to earn magic points to get a better place in line for concert tickets, do you think? That’s sure to inflate numbers, and I’m not sure how much I’ll believe her streams and sales as a metric of greatness this

Google is your friend.

So...there was a galactic cataclysm that changed planets, wiped out species, and came with quality of life improvements?

Follow up: a quick internet search says show creator wanted her divorced, but they never mentioned it either way. Though I think since they say the boys’ mom dies and don’t mention the girls’ dad, we can assume. Unless Carol was—gasp—never married!

Although I don’t mean fake it. Actually electrify any barriers. People will quickly learn

Well the people outing them are just practicing their free speech rights too.

Fellow southerner here. For the life of me, I don’t get it. I’m no historian, but I fell pretty confident saying that many Germans around today are descended from Nazi soldiers, but they don’t have the need to run around saying “I’m just honoring my great grandfather who was a courageous soldier.” Why do Americans do

Oh see they believe they won’t get raped because they’re Good Christian Women. They’re just living by the GOP motto of “I’ve got mine, so fuck you!”

Internalized misogyny or Stockholm syndrome or both?

I don’t know how this affects the Co$ rules, but Nicole Kidman was not, herself, a Scientologist. She took some courses because she was married to one, but remained a Catholic.

But that’s very different from straight up banning them from speaking to her, which they would have to if she was an SP.

Is Nicole Kidman officially a suppressive person? She and Tom Cruise’s kids are allowed to talk to Nicole. Although they have been mostly kept from her, she and her daughter communicate openly on social media. I thought part of the deal for her being so very quiet about it all is she was never formally labelled a SP

It’s possible she tipped in cash; I usually do. But I write “cash” where the tip goes and also write my total, because I’m not a lazy asshole.

Yes, but the catch is that you have to route all memorandum through the communications director.
