that one got me good! mostly because my room is the only one at the front of our house and easy to walk up to from the street.

this is actually one of the reasons i don’t take many pictures with people. i don’t want my image on facebook. i rarely post pics to any social media and even then im either wearing my obnoxious sunglasses, in cosplay, or character make up. i used to try asking people to not tag me but that never worked, so no photos.
I’m team Ward, and I’m unashamed
well said, everyone saying this is still easy is just not getting this. often being hired to care for children turns into maintaining the whole house. then your in a position to be blamed for everything. this kind of work requires a lot of physical and emotional labor, but rarely gets the respect that is due.
took the words straight outta my brain. i already work with actual toddlers, i don’t want to be dating one
I was one of the freaky contact lens prodigies. First try in was easy peassy. Easy in and easy out. I don’t wear contacts that often because of allergies and I like how glasses look on me. Another useless talent, figures.
Your lengthy thoughts are a cool drink of water! Oh jeez I have been mainlining Home Improvement for the last month and the lack of genuine conflict resolution and true character growth is making me want to bang my head on the wall.
Breade Gesserit witch!
most probably the enjoyment parts
I agree, it doesn’t have to be the pinnacle of film, it just has to exist and be genuine! The sets look tight, the talent is awesome, characters are interesting, and in whole it looks like a good romcom. Thats all my sunbaked august brain wants for the end of summer.
fuck getting stuck i always spend 3seconds before liftoff to come to terms with my possible eminent death.
Both is good!
so a “your cool, im cool lets watch this” situation. classic babysittin
was your baby sitter young or an adult? when i was young i remember a lot of adults being super clueless, my uncle never checked what we rented from the video store! we must have rented the entire horror section at some point. sleep away camp, nightmare on elm street, doctor giggles, april fools day, halloween,…
they havent been educated in human development or are just getting their rocks off to your annoyance. you made a fine effort laying out actual information and if they cant bother to pick up what your putting down then it seems like just a play for your attention.
for me it was the faces. if done right i cant handle the warped faces, it triggers something in my brain
im an adult and cant handle coco. all my damn emotions
same kinda childhood in my house. we were all scary movie loving spooky babies. elementary/junior high was all sleep overs at my cousins and B horror movies.
i agree, you shouldn’t force experiences on children just because they happen to be your favorite thing. but if they do begin to how an interest in the genre i want to be able to give them examples that are appropriate for their age or level of maturity.
my 3yrold niece is crazy over caroline but is so so with nightmare before christmas. she does get super focused during scary and creepy moments in other movies, she asks to rewatch scenes a few times before continuing the movie/show.
