Four easy ways to ensure I become the Little Engine That Won't Buy Your Vehicle

Golden age Cadillacs were really complex and had a hilariously long option sheet. They turned increasingly boring through 70s and bottomed out in the 80s and 90s.

My car's pretty grounded to the ground, and one of the bigger selling features for me was the ability to comfortably commute when it wasn't go-fast time.

It's like dirtbikes, except there's no dirt and no bikes!

enough to fill up SW Florida. I bet a market saturation map for that vehicle is blue everywhere in the world except a blip in Florida of a color so deep red that it hasn't been named yet.

They go on to say that some of this technology – in particular the AWD/Ecoboost package – is going to end up on other cars. Fusion RS anyone?

Turns out the predator was part kraken as well.

Is anyone else getting hilariously messed up slider pictures? The first time I loaded the article, the entire slider was squished into a frame about two mouse icons tall. I reloaded, and now I get an ultra-wide shot of the grill of the old car, and a shot of the front and driver's side of the new car, making it

Jensen it hauls ass (a ton of ass. OMG that is so much ass).

Neutral: Would You Buy A Subaru? If you were in the market for a new car would you at least cross-shop it?

OMG Y'all!

It ain't as fast, that's for sure. It also capped out at $48,000MSRP, which when I emailed that price point to the BMW salesman for a leather/moonroof/tech and sport packaged 335 he sent me back "LOL NO WAY; can I interest you in a 328i?"

neither offer a full product line. Cadillac doesn't either, but let's not focus on that.

The XTS is the modern Towncar. It's going after Lincoln drivers. It doesn't fit with new Cadillac, but it does fit with an automaker's desire to sell things for profit (because holy shit does that car sell).

Those gauges are dumb. The car being light and responsive was smart. In the end, the gauges didn't matter enough to make a difference. Also, the HUD is pretty. I spend most of my time looking at it, instead of the 1990s style speedometer.

When will Cadillac phase out the 3.6 V6? It doesn't offer the power or refinement to compete with zee Germans. - TurboS60

I'd rather have a twin V8 turbo, but that's just me.

Will we get a RWD wagon in the next decade? I'd accept something like the BMW X1, too, as long as it placed more emphasis on sporty than being a crossover.

I think the similarities are obvious, so I won't bother listing them.

Debbie Downer: I doubt you could get 30 out of the 4.0 if it's tuned to 500ish horsepower.
