@bachya: Sorry to be the devil's advocate but Microsoft came up with the Genius-type idea for the zune first.

i think it just meant that since the Chrome browser is open-source, google doesn't want everyone to start making their own browsers from this source code. So the statement meant that whatever code you add on to Chrome, Google rightfully owns it.

Its obvious they're trying to keep that 10 year life cycle they promised with their gaming products, such as the psp and ps3.
