If the roles were reversed here, that’s what it would have been. The behavior she describes is well-known to women everywhere, and they universally call it creepy when it’s a man doing it.

This might be odd, but my burning question is “did she date other people too?”
There are Lifetime movies with less obsession than this story
Yeah, this boring-but-smug bullshit about waiting around for some guy and imagining the thoughts of the girls who laughed at you in middle school or whatever gets to be on the same website that has posts celebrating genius mathematicians who just died? Jezebel, please choose more wisely. This is stupidity.
...release a traitor from prison...
You poor baby
By traitor you must mean hero. She exposed war crimes that the military covered up repeatedly
I’m fairly sure her fee from George Soros can cover them!
Really? This too far. Where is her go fund me?
The good news is that, had he sustained injuries, he would still have top notch health insurance to ease the financial burden as he recovered ...?
What she did was shitty, but I do hope it gets him to thinking about how your health can change in an instant and sometimes that instant has nothing to do with how you’ve…
Can we crowd fund her legal fees?
It really does go too far. Because only one of them is assured of health insurance in the event.
I share the author’s affinity for self-timer photos, and to me, theft is a far less significant concern than simply getting a quality photo. When I hand my camera to a stranger, I’m amazed at how poor the results can be. For example: many cameras have a focus point directly in the center — most people will treat that…
Though I get what you’re saying, sometimes it’s nice to be in charge of the photo than letting a stranger take it and just doing an awful job. There’s been many a time when I’ve been traveling and asked a stranger for a photo and they cut out an arm or zoomed in way too close to actually hide what I was posing in…
The nerve of people fucking caring about and liking things.
Ugh these whipper snappers who think selfies are a “trend”
The person in the photo might be the only thing separating it from countless others. Take the Eiffel Tower image above ... if she’s out of the photo, it’s just ANOTHER picture of the Eiffel Tower. I guess the weather and maybe the angle are sort of unique ... ? Really, it’s the person in the photo that sets it apart.
Some of my favorite pictures are the ones my grandparents took of themselves in their younger years when they traveled the United States (and later various countries in the world).
hmm, I need to think about that
if only we had something, some database, some collection of the world’s knowledge, in almost all languages, that you could use to find out. oh if only we had the most extensive accumulation of knowledge in the world’s history at our fingertips, on any device w internet access. such a shame.
