@jetRink: Agreed. It's the same policy I have on friend requests on social networks from family members: Is what they'd see if they have access any worse than what they think they'd see if they know they don't?

@kettlewhistle: Hadn't thought of that, it's not a bad idea. The only issue is, the problem seems to be within the files themselves, since it only manifests when the folder is rescanned, and then its fixed upon iTunes reading it. I'll try it, though.

I've been having an issue in iTunes with my song titles thinking they're supposed to be in Artist - Song format every time I rescan a folder for new stuff, then when the file is accessed (played or modified), it reverts to its proper trackname-only format. It's happened on approx. 50-75 of my downloaded albums.

@jcb231: We still don't know. I believe big-boy DLC will be compatible, so I'd personalyl bank on the tracks being exportable, but it's no more than a guess yet.
