The thing about Mulder, when written well, is that he didn’t just “buy into everything”. He investigated, and built on education and increasing experience to understand what merited further investigation time, and what wasn’t worth the time.

The notion that Steve Forbes was benign while Musk is malignant because of “personality” is peak petty-bourgeois, liberal idealism.

Surely, the least dangerous aspect of Musk’s power which threatens the planet is toxic fanbase; more like union-busting, supporting fascist coups in sovereign states, exploitation of workers and the natural environment are certainly much more concerning. We need a more materialist analysis than that.

It’s so funny to me when people expect SNL to have any kind of stance. They don’t. They’re capitalists. The show makes money. Lorne makes money. Musk is bound to attract big ratings, and all the pieces condemning the show for its choice is gonna make them even bigger. That’s what matters. That’s what mattered in 2015.

Billionaires are just like us! Except they became who they are by blatantly exploiting people and they get away with their vile crimes for decades!

Hey now, why does Space Mutiny never get its just recognition as supreme???

Hot Take: Citizen Kane is a good movie that is not for everyone and Black Panther is just slightly okay movie that appeals to more people. That there is no value in having the public at large judge them, and should be left to professionals; reviewers, film historians, those in the industry to determine their larger

You know Barsanti will take that as a challenge, right?

Neither movie is as good as Highlander, that’s for sure.

Hot take: Black Panther and Citizen Kane are both good movies, and there’s really no value in ranking them hierarchically.

Well, this article fulfills the site’s daily stupid bullshit quota.

Usually, the Oscars end the same way: we sit for hours waiting for the Best Picture to be announced, hoping that there won’t be another fiasco like the La La Land/Moonlight thing.
