Not sure that conflating nascent, (largely unexplored) medical risks with risk-taking bravery is all that smart. It’s just as bad as someone making a political statement by not wearing a mask.

One of my favorite episodes of Wonder Years is when Peter Falk shows up as Kevin’s grandfather and reads a story to him about true love. I think it guest starred Robin Wright, Cary Elwes, Mandy Patinkin and the dude who used to be married to Susan Sarandon. Great episode of a great show.

Taylor Swift has leg insurance.

We could all just collectively agree to not care about the Golden Globes. That’d be a start, and a finish. Just let actors drink at the Oscars, that’s literally the entirety of the GG’s appeal.

Hillary Clinton’s working on a political thriller that sounds an awful lot like our current reality

I feel confident in saying your post is way more entertaining than Hillary’s book will ever be.

For someone who lost to Trump she’s doing pretty fucking well for herself.

Books that sound like a cheap throwaway joke on the Simpsons

As long as she agrees to read the audio-book in that shrill, exasperated lunch-mother voice.

I guess the theory that Joss Whedon is a feminist has been... *takes off sunglasses*... Jossed.

I was really looking forward to this film. I thought it was good, but not great. It felt uneven at times, and it lacked the emotional punch I was hoping for; thinking back on it earlier today, the phrase “paint by numbers” popped into my head.

If Aaron Sorkin had written this it would have been about how the Black Panthers just wanted campaign finance reform and a sensible, balanced federal budget.

So... this is the more interesting story The Trial of the Chicago Seven teased?
