A friend of mine got his car stolen from his driveway when he was warming it up just like this story. The car was out for probably 5/10 minutes. And there have been more cases like that recently here. (Anchorage AK)

Translation: Jeep and Toyota are making mint with the Wrangler and Tacoma and we want in on that.

And the fancy parts on the Tesla wouldn’t quite work. And Tesla would make lame excuses for its failures on Twitter. Or blame the users.

People need to understand that they are essentially beta testers of the new version of the Model S.

Why does suing the dealership make sense? An employee did something wrong, but unless you can show evidence that the dealership knew and/or condoned the employee’s actions I see no responsibility. The article says that the dealership cooperated in bringing the scumbag down. They don’t seem to bear any responsibility

I think a better question would be what car hasn’t the aftermarket ruined? Before you get the pitchforks hear me out. Yes, aftermarket can be great but name one car with a strong aftermarket parts supply that hasn’t been overdone into ridiculousness. By the way, this is why we can’t have nice things.

The headlights would actually be an upgrade over what comes on the Wrangler now. Seriously, cheap sealed beam lights are offered as an upgrade for JKs. And the tail lights already are as basic as it gets. You won’t save much changing them.

No, is the Kelly Blue Balls price.

Panic? People will be extatic to hear that the Wrangler may finally have decent headlights. The lights on the JK are horrible.

No. Just... no.

He had to have the engine (drive unit) twice in 100,000 miles and that’s reliable? If any other manufacturer had a similar issue where they had to replace an already-replaced-under-warranty engine after 75K miles you’d crucify them. If any other manufacturer put out engines that failed that bad they’d be crucified.

Afraid they’ll Mustang it on the way it of Cars&Coffee?

Jeep Wrangler still has Class 3 Handles.

They should call it the Camry Sport. Just to watch the Internet on fire.

That guy really Mustanged it. His tire pressures must have been wrong.

When asked about the incident, a Tesla spokesman said “we have reviewed the data, and it suggests the system performed as intended. The driver of the Camaro didn’t have his hands... wait, Camaro? This was a Camaro? Ha, ha, very funny."

A friend said he saw a Volkswagen Bug around here (Anchorage, Ak) who’s owner must be a big Volkswagen AG fan, the plate read VAG.

Glad to see is working out. I was one of those who thought the car would spend as much time on the shop as on the road. I was wrong, I guess time to shop for an Aston before people realize they are reliable...

Katmai National Park and Preserve. Not Katami. Yes, I’m being that guy.

The fingerprint/voice/retina recognition sounds good. But why not have a piece of metal, coded to your vehicle, that you insert in a receptacle and it allows you to drove the vehicle? That way you can give the codes metal piece to a friend if they are borrowing the car. You know, like a key?
