No, no, no this has the same problem the Subaru Baja had: the bed is too short. That bed needs to be 2ft longer to be useful. Otherwise may as well cover the bed and make it a wagon- which ends up being capable to carry more because you can put the seats down.

It was a 2004 Kia Sedona. I don't know the mileage, but you can probably get it for cheap now.

A write off? No, it will go for sale as a "project Porsche 993 Ruf, no rust. Some body damage. $50,000"

So this guy is saying that he is a very experienced and capable driver, but he can't handle his car in a straight line, on dry pavement without DSC? And that's his excuse?

Not this time, son. Not this time.

Miata. Because this is Jalopnik.

Acura NSX. Because just look at it, damn it. Do I need to say more?

Nice choice. I'd rather have the GTI than the used ATV.

As an Anchorage resident, the bear spray doesn't surprise me at all. It may have even been an honest mistake. A lot of people don't realize you can't take it on a plane until they arrive to their destination and find the TSA "we removed it from your luggage" note.

Buying an 8 year old Bentley from a used car lot in Florida that wrote their ad in all-caps. That sounds reasonable.

Low (ish) miles V70R? Yes! At $30,000? NO! It is in really nice shape, but still not worth 30 grand.

No, to irrefutably prove that AWD is worthless in the snow they should have taken an AWD 3 series BMW (they make those!) And test it side by side with the RWD version with both cars wearing the same tires.

Aaand... is gone. That was a good deal in today's market. But don't worry, it will probably be back up for sale soon. For twice as much :(

If you buy it from the lot, it is used by the time it is shipped to the US. What he is saying is you can't go and buy, say, 50 RS3 directly from the factory and ship them to the US for resale.

You already answered this yourself, Doug. The reasonable answer is whatever 911 you can buy for the 50-60k.

VW Phaeton W12. Can't say I've ever seen one.

I think the DeLorean was an even bigger letdown. A car that looked like nothing else, it just screamed supercar... and it didn't have that much performance, really.

Can't believe nobody said this yet... VW Beetle.

Why buy school supplies when you can spend that money on hookers and blow!

Nice for offroading, but short wheel base can be exciting in snow and ice. Plus the suspension will beat you up. And there is very little space behind the back seat. They do kick ass offroad, though. But I'm not sure I'd say they arw fun to drive on the road.
