She isn’t being punished for being depressed. She is being punished for a willful action. Actions have consequences. She can have all the counseling she wants but she still has to be punished for breaking the rules.

I have very little compassion here. She put herself in this situation by committing treason. She is lucky she did not get the death penalty.
