I mourn that people today won’t know the sheer anxiety of movie-going in the pre-digital age, when you had to show up early enough to 1) ensure tickets were available and 2) ensure there were enough good seats that you and your family/friends could all sit together.

Spoiler: It’s a sequel to The Stuff.

“50 cent version of Batman” is pretty much Rorschach’s entire deal though.

i prefer it, too, but (and i’m not basing this on any real data) but i have to imagine that showing up and seeing all the best seats already taken for the last 10 years has effected spontaneous movie-going, and that’s had a ripple effect.

i’d even go as far as saying that advance ticket sales/pre-selected seats fucked theatres even before that.

Executives and senior “leadership” in every industry are largely a bunch of incompetent sociopaths and morons. NONE of them “earn” their exorbitant pay and perks through competence and capable leadership.

Love Lisa Kudrow, but I don’t think she works here.

Its an interesting thought, but there is virtually no chance Trump wins the popular vote, and if by some crazy coincidence he actually did, Biden would lose the EC in pretty much every scenario. By a historic trouncing.

They don’t.  Civil War puts states against each other, including California and Texas on the same side.  That doesn’t happen in any reality that’s remotely imminent.

I’d love to hear a cover of Tomorrow, Wendy

If you’re going with Priest, I think there are a few that would make for better jams in this format.

Alice In Chains - Would?

The Dead Milkmen - Punk Rock Girl

I hope it’s GWAR.

The guy making Andor isn’t an idiot slavishly devoted to fan service, like the other creators.

And Andor!

Bad Batch is a good remedy to that feeling, hardly any Force stuff going on at all in that series.

My two cents, feel free to debate: I feel like the relatively tepid critical reception (I do not care about box office) of Pixar’s last several years’ worth of original films (as opposed to sequels) is because their blend of whimsy and deep emotion (with stellar writing, plotting, and casting) was pretty amazing for a
