I was thinking that since they are thinking of rebooting Stieg Larsson's Millenium series and there's NO WAY IN HELL they'll be able to get their first picks ScarJo or Portman, Cara Gee might be a good fit for Lisbeth Salander. But she's probably still a bit too under the radar.

Well, seeing as that's not the case, I can't really say. All I know is that it's a performance that could have easily gone wrong and sunk the whole film, but he *nails* it. And I'm saying this as someone who appreciates the film more than I actually like it.
All of the nominated supporting performances that I've seen have been very good, but one that wasn't nominated and really impressed me this year was that of Harvey Scrimshaw as Caleb in The VVitch.
There are shades of Don Hertzfeldt's It's Such A Beautiful Day.
