I would hate a future where autonomous driving was truly safer than humans and where I would then have to pay insane insurance to have the “privilege” to drive my own car.
It’s not going to be standard. The hardware will be standard but you’ll have to pay to activate the self-driving features. Still though, you’re right...it is incredible :)
While that would be great, the article clearly says you will have to pay extra for the feature. The hardware will be there but the functionality will be deactivated unless you pay.
