The only thing that seems weird about this to me is the call to NASA, the FAA and the APFAA on Twitter. Like, doesn’t someone like Elon Musk (or someone at SpaceX) have someone they can reach out to without hitting up Twitter handles like I do when Comcast screws up my internet service?

“Mark Zuckerberg’s $95 million internet satellite”

I think they’ll pull through just fine. Despite the decades of experience engineers have, orbital launches still carry a high level of risk.

Yeah I feel like everyone is trying to turn this into an embarrassing situation of some sort for Space X. This is space travel we’re talking about here. Even though we’ve gotten better at it, there’s always significant risks but what’s important is learning from the accidents and not repeating them twice.

You can do that through insurance because you pay premiums. An organization, as far as I’m aware, doesn’t have insurance. They can get insurance for their employees but that doesn’t cover the organization itself buying medical products.

Just install hepa filters in your house. Buy a good rubber suit and never let the outside world touch you. It’s a dangerous place and you shouldn’t be in it. Would you rather die from natural causes outside or die extremely old in a sterile environment? Think man, think.

“Add this to the growing list of reasons to never go outside again...”

It doesn’t claim to be the fastest, it claims to be the quickest.

Tires, the same reason most cars are limited at 155.

Single-speed transmission.

Probably the base model leaf with a 3.3kw charger and a 24kwh battery

Yup, First Contact was great. Generations was ok - mostly it was weird. Insurrection and Nemesis sucked though.

first contact was good, the rest was subpar.

You are one of those few who don't like First Contact, I concur?

Without my mother to deciding to randomly vacuum in-front of the TV while I am on the last level of Stinger, I am afraid it will never be truly authentic.

Especially when you can’t even update a game if there’s less than 50GB available. Shits weak

They always do this. Why wouldn’t they do it? They’ll probably keep selling it for a couple years even after the Playstation 5 comes out.

Yup I hear you. That’s a major failing from the powers that be. Why would you download the app to watch the show...when you can just watch the show from your cable provider?

This is an incredibly outdated way of thinking which can only be coming from the people in the TV stations who are aged 55+ and over.
